Rendr is a mobile balcony inspection app for multifamily condition assessments. Inspectors capture structured notes, measurements, and photos on an iPad or iPhone in the field, then export a complete report to ZIP, Excel, Google Sheets, or Google Drive in a single tap.
Rendr walks an inspector through every field required by a standard balcony condition assessment: structural elements, waterproofing, railings, attachments, and decking. Each row accepts typed notes and up to a dozen photos. All data lives locally on the device until the inspector explicitly chooses to export it — there is no background sync and no Nova Consulting-operated server.
Rendr uses exactly one Google API scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. This
is Google’s
file-scoped, non-sensitive scope. It grants
the app permission to create new files in your Drive and to
read or modify only the files Rendr itself
created (the inspection Sheet and photo folder
described above). The app
cannot list, browse, open, modify, or delete
any other file in your Drive. Revoking access at any time at
myaccount.google.com/permissions
also deletes the app’s ability to reach even those
self-created files.
Camera and photo-library permissions are requested only when you actively tap a capture or picker button inside the app. The app never scans your library in the background.
