What Rendr does

Structured balcony inspections, offline-first.

Rendr walks an inspector through every field required by a standard balcony condition assessment: structural elements, waterproofing, railings, attachments, and decking. Each row accepts typed notes and up to a dozen photos. All data lives locally on the device until the inspector explicitly chooses to export it — there is no background sync and no Nova Consulting-operated server.

Export paths

Three one-tap export options.

• ZIP bundle — every photo from the inspection, automatically compressed under 2 MB and re-encoded as JPEG, packaged alongside an Excel workbook.
• Google Sheets — a brand-new Google Sheet is created in the inspector’s own Google Drive containing every row, every typed note, and thumbnail hyperlinks to each photo.
• Google Drive photos — the same compressed JPEG set is uploaded into a single new folder in the inspector’s Drive for archival or client hand-off.

Why Rendr requests Google Drive access

Only to write the files you ask it to write.

Rendr uses exactly one Google API scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. This is Google’s file-scoped, non-sensitive scope. It grants the app permission to create new files in your Drive and to read or modify only the files Rendr itself created (the inspection Sheet and photo folder described above). The app cannot list, browse, open, modify, or delete any other file in your Drive. Revoking access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions also deletes the app’s ability to reach even those self-created files.

Camera and photo-library permissions are requested only when you actively tap a capture or picker button inside the app. The app never scans your library in the background.
