This is the official Support page for Rendr, the Nova Consulting balcony inspection app. If the app isn’t behaving the way you expect, or you have a question about how to use it, this page is where you reach us.
To help us resolve your issue as fast as possible, please include:
Rendr’s Google Sheets and Google Drive exports require a real build of the app — Google’s OAuth 2.0 policy blocks sign-in from inside Expo Go because Expo Go uses a different bundle identifier than the one registered against Rendr’s OAuth client. Make sure you’ve installed Rendr from the App Store (or from a development build, if you’re a tester), not from a generic sandbox app. The ZIP photo export and the Excel spreadsheet export always work without any Google sign-in at all.
Rendr uses the non-sensitive
drive.file OAuth scope, which means the Sheet
shows up under Recent in Google Drive and
is searchable by its filename, but it is
not listed through the
“Created by you” filter in the default Drive UI.
That filter only shows files created through the Drive web
interface, not through a file-scoped API. Use Recent or
the Drive search bar to find exports.
Open iOS Settings > Rendr, then toggle Camera and Photos back on. On Android, open Settings > Apps > Rendr > Permissions. Relaunch the app after enabling the permissions.
Rendr stores inspection data in the app’s sandboxed local storage, which iOS and Android both delete when the app is uninstalled. Always tap one of the Export buttons (ZIP, Excel, Google Sheets, or Google Drive) to save your work off-device before uninstalling.
OAuth refresh tokens can be revoked by Google if the account password changes, if you revoke Rendr from myaccount.google.com/permissions, or after a long period of inactivity. Force-quit Rendr and relaunch it — the app will prompt you to sign in with Google again, and your inspection data stays intact.
Email novaconsulting0@gmail.com with the subject line “Rendr Bug Report”. Describe the steps to reproduce, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened. Screenshots or a short screen recording dramatically speed up our response.
Email novaconsulting0@gmail.com with the subject line “Rendr Feature Request” and tell us what you’d like Rendr to do. We prioritize requests that would benefit multiple inspectors or save measurable time per inspection.
For questions about how Rendr handles data, see the Privacy Policy. For the legal terms that govern your use of Rendr, see the Terms of Service.
